What is the difference between the CK30 program and the 60 Day Keto Jumpstart Program?

The CK30 program contains all the information and scientific data Drew has collected and compiled over the last few years of his keto journey. The recipes and meal plans in the CK30 are also all dairy and nut free. The 60 day Keto Jumpstart Program contains 8 weeks of meal plans, recipes, a shopping list, and all the frequently asked questions. The recipes and meal plans contained in it do include dairy and nuts. It just depends which you prefer! Check them out at fit2fat2fitprograms.com.

Which program should I do first?
There really is no right or wrong answer here. All are excellent programs, but one carries you longer than the other. Many customers choose to start with the Keto Jumpstart program because it’s designed to do just that and “jump start” you into ketosis. Then the Keto4Life program will help transition you into making keto a permanent lifestyle change. You might also choose to start with the CK30 plan and then transition over to the Keto4Life program. It just depends on what you prefer!
How do I cancel my keto school membership?
You can cancel your membership to Keto School by sending us an email request at info@fit2fat2fit.com. Be sure you include the email address that you signed up with.
What do I do if I can’t access the programs I purchased?
We recommend you reach out to our customer service team at info@fit2fat2fit.com. Provide them with the email address that you signed up with and they will help you obtain access to your programs. Also be sure to check your spam or promotions folder, sometimes the emails containing your programs are bumped there.
What is the best way to test your ketone levels?
There are various methods to test your ketone level, however the gold standard of testing is to use a blood ketone monitor. The urine test strips are not very accurate and can vary depending on many factors. You can find keto blood monitors, such as the Keto MoJo, on Amazon.

If you feel you need a little more substance in the mornings, you can have some scrambled eggs topped with cheese and avocado instead. Just make sure you are taking that into account when figuring your daily macros of 75% fat, 20% protein, and 5% carbs. If you need help with these calculations, we suggest downloading the free app called MyFitnessPal.

All of our programs come with a 30 day money back guarantee, except for our 60 Day Keto Jumpstart Program, which comes with a 60 day money back guarantee.
Can you drink alcohol while living a keto lifestyle?
Technically, yes. Even though you can drink alcohol and stay in ketosis, (depending on what you drink, beers can kick you out of ketosis.) keep in mind that it can slow down weight loss and fat loss process. The liver will start to process alcohol as quickly as possible, which means it’s used by the body before all other nutrients, including fat. Some keto friendly options include: tequila, whiskey, scotch, or bourbon, vodka (unflavored) rum, brandy, or gin. For chasers, stick with seltzer water like La Croix, Perrier, or Zevia.
Is long term keto healthy for you?

Keto can be and is used long term by many people for the health benefits involved. People with dementia, epilepsy, children with autism (check out the documentary called The Magic Pill on Netflix. It talks about this very subject!), digestive issues, inflammation, RA, lupus and so much more. It’s more than just a diet to help you lose weight. It is a lifestyle for many people who suffer from chronic health problems and it provides them with great relief. This is something Drew covers in greater detail in his book Complete Keto.

Why am I not losing any weight?

It’s hard to determine exactly what may be going on that is preventing you from losing weight. There are a number of things that could affect it such as not eating enough calories, not getting enough fat, eating too much protein or too many carbs. But here are some things Drew suggests. Try tweaking your macros, limit your dairy and nuts to only one serving each per day or eliminating entirely, you could be over consuming those. (Try following the CK30 plan and see if this helps!) Remember, weight loss can vary as everybody’s so different and the scale does not always reflect what is going on internally. Weight loss is also very mental and emotional, check out Drew’s book Complete Keto on how to overcome those struggles.

Can I gain muscle on keto?

It is possible to gain muscle with the ketogenic lifestyle, however it will take some time. To start building size you have to wait until your body becomes fat adapted, which can take up to 60-90 days. Drew did a podcast on this very topic. Check it out on The Fit2Fat2Fit Experience podcast, episode 94.

How can I avoid or treat the keto flu?
Sometimes keto flu can show it’s ugly self in symptoms like headaches, dizziness, nausea, brain fog, sluggishness, etc. These are all normal since you’ve been glucose adapted pretty much your entire life. Here are 3 tips to help you combat these symptoms:
Drink plenty of water! At least 1/2 your bodyweight in ounces. (A 200-pound person should drink 100 oz of water a day.)
BHBs (exogenous ketones) can help curb the keto flu. We offer these through our sister company Complete Wellness.
Get in those electrolytes, they are NOT optional. 2 tsp. Real Salt or pink Himalayan salt (spread out over the course of the day), 300-500 mg magnesium glycinate or citrate, and 99mg potassium citrate.
Do you offer a hardback version of any of your Keto Programs?
Yes, Drew’s new book Complete Keto has a 30 day meal plan, over 75 recipes and all the information you will need to get started living a healthy keto lifestyle.
How do I figure out and track my macros?
As far as keeping track of macros goes, as long as you are following one of Drew’s detailed meal plans without deviation, then you will be hitting your macros daily. It is, however, a good idea to learn how to track your macros, so if you make a substitution or have a meal out one day, you can figure out what your macros look like. The easiest way to track your macros is to download a tracking app on your phone. We recommend downloading the tracking app MyFitnessPal.
Can I do Keto Cycling (aka cyclical keto) on your programs?
We do support cyclical keto, but only after doing a strict keto lifestyle for at least 30 days or until you become fat-adapted. CKD (cyclical keto diet) will not work well for people who are not yet fat-adapted, so that is why it’s important to do the 30 days of strict keto before you jump into cycling. Otherwise you will never reach the peak of being efficient at using ketones as an energy source. Drew’s book Complete Keto details this more clearly and helps you figure out what to do for life after keto.
Is it ok to have snacks while on keto?
Try your best to avoid snacking as we want to keep insulin response very low. If you HAVE to have a snack, opt for macadamia nuts, hard cheeses, olives, pork rinds, or hard boiled eggs.
Can I make substitutions on the program meal plans if I don’t like a certain food?
You can substitute items you don’t eat with items that you do from either the approved food lists or other recipes in the plan.
Are you able to live a keto lifestyle as a vegan or vegetarian?
Our keto programs and plans can easily be modified to fit your nutritional needs. If you would like more tips on how to live a keto lifestyle as a vegan or vegetarian, checkout Drew’s book Complete Keto . It has an entire section dedicated to doing keto properly as a vegan/vegetarian, as well as a complete 7 day program!
