KSL Radio Interview - 5/12/11
I had my first (of hopefully many) radio interview and I'm pretty excited about it. Deciding to take this drastic journey was a difficult decision, but I knew if I reached and inspired as many people as possible it would be more then worth it. Many of you have heard already from Facebook and Twitter, but I had the awesome experience of being on the radio last Thursday, May 12th. I was contacted by KSL, a local radio station here in Utah, to be on their afternoon radio show called the Browser. It was a pretty surreal experience as they brought me into the studio to meet the DJ's. I could hear the commercials going on in the background and knew that any moment we would be live. That's about when I started to get nervous.
As we started the 3 minute interview I was pretty intimidated, but I was able to calm my nerves. I felt that the interview went well and it definitely helped with spreading the word about my journey and purpose. Overall, it was a good experience and the DJ's, Alex and Amy, were awesome and great to work with.
Here's the link. It's about 20 min. into it or about 1/3 of the way:
